This specimen features intergrown cubes, with octahedral modified edges, of purple fluorite from the legendary Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar Mining District. The stepped growth patterns and zoning within the crystals offer excellent visual depth. Mounted upright on one of our custom-designed, 3D-printed display bases, this piece is both a great mineral specimen and a showcase-ready collectible. A classic from one of America’s most famous fluorite localities.
